Blessing and Rededication of Monastery Piano
Last year, the Monastery’s custom built Schimmel grand piano was refurbished with a generous gift from oblate and Sunday Assembly member Sherri Hansen in memory of her late husband, Scott Shimanski. Join us on Sunday, June 15th, at 2:00 pm for a free concert celebrating this gift to our community. There will also be a formal dedication of the instrument by Sister Lynne Smith, OSB. Participants on the program will include Bill Frederick, Sherri Hansen, Grace Rosholt, George Teague and Patrick Terry. Works by Saint-Saëns, Bérlioz, Debussy, Schubert, Schumann and many more!
