You are invited to attend this extended silent retreat in which retreatants will have these opportunities: to attend the Holy week liturgies with the sisters and others to participate in optional contemplative engagements (e.g. lectio divina) with the texts, liturgies and prayers of the week to rest in the freedom from social expectations to speak or otherwise be engaged to share a deep experience of the mysteries of Holy Week in a community of people seeking the same. Body movement and rhythmic dance is a natural human behavior in most of the world. Unfortunately, not all religious leaders see it that way.
