    Holy Wisdom Monastery is joining area churches and co-sponsoring an Ecumenical Thanksgiving Service at Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish in Madison, Wisconsin on Monday, Nov. 24, 2025. Together we will reflect on God’s many blessings and our shared faith in Christ, while supporting those in need within the community. All participants are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items or make a cash donation to benefit local food pantries and the families they serve during the holiday season.     Join us for a contemplative Taizé Prayer near the winter solstice, the shortest day and longest night of the year, to reflect on our loss, grief, sadness and loneliness. This event will replace our regular midday prayer at 11:45 am. The event will take place in the Monastery Assembly Room.
