Kids on the Prairie

Explore nature’s beauty and surprises!

Kids on the Prairie is for children and their adult family members. Experienced volunteer educators and guides will facilitate a short hike to learn about nature and explore the grounds and trails. This free event is open to members of Holy Wisdom communities and the general public.

June 23 – Butterflies & Berries 

We will search the prairie for butterflies. Our monarch expert will show us some monarch eggs. We will use magnifiers to find interesting insects on prairie plants. Then we’ll explore the woods to find seasonal berries and learn who eats them.
